
1. Under promise and over deliver
2. Do what you say you are going to do
3. Deliver bad news quickly and get on with it
4. Return phone calls and emails
5. Be 5 min. early to your appointments
6. Don't over-commit yourself to anything
7. Try to do one thing a day to make someone's day brighter, be it big or small
8. Be kind and respectful to service providers (waiters, cleaning staff, etc.)
9. Be knowledgeable of the things you speak, do not present something to be fact if you do not know
10. Don't hide behind email, make the call
11. Share nicely
12. Spell-check and and do not use words that you are not absolutely SURE you know the meaning, including the fine points
